Dua Lipa was born London on 22 August 1995 to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. Dua Lipa is Bosnian descent via the maternal grandparents of her. Her ancestors can also be traced back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Lipa's grandfathers are both historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and one younger brother, named Gjin.
